The Health Services Research and Health Economic Evaluation Summer School took place from August 11 to 15, 2025 at the University of Calgary! The Summer School was a collaboration between the Canadian MSK Rehab Research Network and the McCaig Institute for Bone and Joint Health.

This event brought together a group of 14 interdisciplinary trainees from across Canada to explore topics related to health services research and health economic evaluation. Trainees took part in group-based activities, explored innovative approaches, and strengthened their skills in health services research and health economics.

Insightful speaker sessions focused on health services research, health economic evaluation, trial-based study in MSK, model-based approaches, patient and community engagement, and much more.
Thank you to all speakers, trainees, and partners for contributing to a productive and impactful summer school!
