“In life, you get the ‘hands’ you are dealt, and my ‘hand’ resulted in my being the third generation on my father’s side of the family to be diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), all of us around the age of 36. I had an acute onset that had the immediate effect of throwing my life and work into chaos.”
