🔬 MHRC Seminar Series – Dr. Nathan Serrano
The Muscle Health Research Centre (MHRC) is pleased to welcome Dr. Nathan Serrano from the University of Missouri for an upcoming seminar on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM (ET).
Dr. Serrano will present “MYC Induction Reprograms Skeletal Muscle: From Structure to Function,” exploring the molecular mechanisms underlying skeletal muscle fiber-type transitions and the effects of MYC induction on muscle metabolism, structure, and function. His research focuses on muscle plasticity and its implications for aging and metabolic conditions such as obesity.
The seminar will be held in a hybrid format, with attendance available in person or via Zoom.
